"Rooms are the hardest thing in hotel photography and the most valuable. They are small, usually lit by one window fighting one ceiling fitting, and a guest will study them longer than any other picture on the page.

At Regina we worked the rooms the way we always do: window light carried as far into the space as it will go, then fill added only where the shadow has gone dead, so the finished frame still looks like a room someone could walk into rather than a showroom. Beds were dressed and re-dressed between frames. Nothing in shot is a prop the guest will not find when they arrive.

The wider resort and aqua park coverage was built around the same rule."
